im gonna make this short and sweet since i have to be up for work in a few hours.
im not a runner
i’ve never been a runner.
im not very fit
and i haven’t been in a while.
hopefully all of that is about to change!
during an internship in 2011 i lost about 15 pounds, making it to my lowest weight that i had been in a while. i came home from that internship in jan 2012, it is nov 25, 2013 and i have gained 35 pounds. meaning i gained what i lost and more. its an upsetting feeling, but i know the reasoning behind it:
-i eat WAY too much fast food (im always on the go, with two jobs and school)
-at my internship i walked about 15 miles a day as a part of my job, the weight practically fell off. here i go to school and my jobs don require me to do as much work.
-i pretty much let myself go.
the main reasoning for this blog will be to track my progress, as i wish to compete in a 10 miler competition next year! it’s the tower of terror 10 miler held at walt disney world! and if i feel prepared enough i might even sign up for the wine and dine half marathon!
any support is good support, and i hope to dazzle everyone, including myself, with the positive changes i will be making in the next year!
